Flying sites in Pacific NorthWest:
Where to learn Hang Gliding in Pacific Northwest:
It was windy and a bit gusty at Dog yesterday. Most of the time the wind speed was about 13-17 mph straight out of West and continued blowing strong through sunset. A lot of hangs came out to flying and stayed in the air as long as they wanted. My flight lasted over 3 hours from 4:50 to 8:10 pm. I spent most of the time at Elk Mtn across the lake with Eric O, Robin B and Tim C. Maximum altitude was 1,000 ft above launch (3,200 ft MSL). Larry, Tina, Travis launched around 6 and all headed over to Elk Mt as well. It was another great flying day at Dog. 3 photos enclosed.
