Cape Lookout was awesome today , it turned on at 11:30. The wind was nice and gentle for paragliders too. I launched at 12:15PM and flew for almost 3 hours. Few trips to the tip and ride some thermals over the north side clear cut area. Ray thermal up to 2100ft. My maximum altitude was 1,500ft. There were 4 hangs (Rob Stevens, Ray Berger, Roone Maier , myself) and approx 15 pgs. The wind was about 10 -13 mph or less out of NNW at the beach when I landed at 3pm. Tide was coming faster than last Thursday due to the bigger waves. Everyone landed around the same time. Pgs Nick Fulmor launched around 5 and flew for 40 mins. Great day for everyone.
