4 hrs/ aprox 4-5 flights Area B 5/17/19

Flying sites in Pacific NorthWest:
Where to learn Hang Gliding in Pacific Northwest:

Area B turned out really close to what was predicted by "Windfinder Superforecast". It was raining from Portland to Warrenton this morning between 3:30 - 5:30 am. Yes, l'd left home at 3:30 am and arrival with sunshine later too. Winds were approx 10-13 mph straight WSW, so Travis and l were able to soar the entire dunes for 5+ hrs (from 6am-12pm). A PG (Kate Eagle?) showed up at the B parking lot later to join us. Winds began to switch more south around 11am and got much stronger (approx 20+ mph) so only Travis and l were continue flying. Tides was coming up too but there was still beach for landing. The dunes continued to produce plenty of ridge lifts even switched south. Just more intense flying downwind to the north side. We were so tired after the 5 plus hrs session that we decided to end the day and get lunch. Not sure where to go tomorrow yet, Maybe Cliffside or Oceanside???
