Dog Mt. Flight Report 7/29/17
1st flight 12-2pm (Topped 600ft over launch)
2nd flight 6-8pm (Topped 1500ft over launch)
2nd flight 6-8pm (Topped 1500ft over launch)
Dog was very good today , especially from 6:30PM to sunset. I flew twice and got 4+ hour of air times. About 15 -20 hang pilots out for a day (no Paras due to strong wind). There was already white caps on the lake with approx 10-15 mph winds when I arrived Dog patch at 11PM. Flight times for most pilots between an hour to 2.5 hr. Most flew till near sunset and many were able to get high over Elk after 6:30pm. Everyone was happy with the day turned out.

Many of us who fly Dog Mt. (Glenoman Wash) this weekend from 6PM to sunset went out across the Riffe lake to Elk Mt for a change in scenery. There were abundant gentle ridge lifts and thermals over Elk. Just another satisfying weekend at Dog Mt.
