5 flights 8 hrs / Smoky and hazy weekend at Dog Mt (Glenoma,WA) Aug 4 to 6, 2017

Friday
Got 2 flights today
Total of 3 hrs
Smoky and hazy skies cover Dog Mt. today (4 pics enclosed) but it clearing up around 7:30pm. Typical Dog summer soarable condition. North ridge and Elk was working for short time.  5 hangs (Ron, Glenn, Thomas, Tim D and myself) and 2 bags (Kim & Alan) flew. Nothing epic.

Saturday
Visited Paraglider Jerry Devlin at Sharon Care Center in Centralia, Wash  and than returned back to Dog Mt. again. Had a evening flight with Chad, Tina, Mike (from Colorado), Stas, Rob A, Thomas , Tim D and Ron.

Sunday
It was soarable from noon to sunset. I got in 2 flights today (Sunday). Winds didn't switch north.

1st flight from 1 - 3pm
2nd flight from 6 - 7:30pm

Although MM5 was calling to be amazing at Dog today, in reality it turned out MM5 wasn't accurate at all again. About 12 hangs flew early afternoon, which includes tandem passenger Larry's granddaughter Hazelnut.  Lifts were only up to 200-300ft above launch; Stas, Justin and l got 400ft above launch over the South bowl; Nothing over Elk. The skies were even more hazy than Saturday, and also very humid at the ground.

Second group (about 10 hangs) launched after 6pm, a few maintained a couple hundred feet above launch. Air was smooth and lifts were very light. Nobody went to the back bowl or Elk.  I'll post pics and video later.
