Beautiful snowy scenery at Dog Mountain today with fresh blanket of snow covering Morton and Glenoma as well. About 10 HG pilots flew today in sunny, warm and extremely light condition. Five hangs (including myself ) flew twice either had sledders or extended sledders. The best chance of a soarable window today was to not launch early. Larry was able to get above launch earlier for a short time. Tim C and Tom M were last to launch at about 3:30 (not sure exactly time) when it finally turned on. They were able to get a couple hundred feet above launch and soared for I think approx 45 mins to an hour during their second flight. Everyone had perfect launches and landings. Dog forecast looks good tomorrow and maybe Tuesday too. Contact Vincent if you can fly next few days.

2 hours flight at Cape Lookout Oregon 01/02/20 Feb

Carmela and l had soarable flights at Cape Lookout this afternoon. It was pouring rain this morning from Portland to Tillamook until I've arrived launch at 11 am . I was first to launch at noon and easily elevated to 2,000 ft right below cloudbase. Wind speed was approx 20-25 mph between 1,000- 2,000ft and less above launch. I cruised for 2 hrs around the whole cape while reaching North Point and further north. One squall hit launch around 1 pm, but passed through launch ending pretty quickly. With the 15 ft high waves reaching the front of the gazebo parking lot even during low tide at 1pm , I've decided to land around 2pm after 2 hrs of airtime. Carmela went further north pass the campsite area to land, as there's plenty of beach for landing over there. FYI: I've posted "On Air Report" on Facebook live earlier.
