Where to learn Hang Gliding in Pacific Northwest:

Today's (May 30th Wednesday) weather was almost a repeat of Monday with much better thermals and north winds.  I arrived LZ at noon,  winds at 15 mph west with gusts to 20 mph and plenty of white capes on the lake. It had dropped down later when Alan and I ready to launch around 1:00PM. Robin and Travis launched around 3:00PM.  I flew for an hour on the first flight and than launched at 5:30pm (2nd flights) right after Eric O on the north launch.  Flew for 2 hrs and 40 mins alone going back and froth from radio towers to Elk. Reaching 5,000ft behind the radio towers and 4,000ft at Elk Mtn. Eric went to the back and made it to Larry J house.

3 hrs Dog Mt 5/28/18

Where to learn Hang Gliding in Pacific Northwest:

It was windy and a bit gusty at Dog yesterday. Most of the time the wind speed was about 13-17 mph straight out of West and continued blowing strong through sunset. A lot of hangs came out to flying and stayed in the air as long as they wanted. My flight lasted over 3 hours from 4:50 to 8:10 pm. I spent most of the time at Elk Mtn across the lake with Eric O, Robin B and Tim C.  Maximum altitude was 1,000 ft above launch (3,200 ft MSL). Larry, Tina, Travis launched around 6 and all headed over to Elk Mt as well. It was another great flying day at Dog. 3 photos enclosed.
