Rampart had a lot of fresh snow today on the north side of the cascades, and unfortunately it was blanket up with some clouds when we ready to launch at 2:30pm. I took a lot of amazing (surfing in clouds) scenic pics and videos that I'll post later. My flight lasted an hour and 40 mins with 6 hangs (Alfredo, Glenn, Jimmy, Luis, Ron and Shah) . The winds at the LZ was very switchy and rowdy, but thermals over the lake bed was smooth and wide, making it easy to climbed up to 5,500ft (over 1,000ft above launch).
