Peterson's Saturday (hang glider) report:
It was strong wind out of the south all day at Peterson's. I launched first at around 1pm in 25-30mph wind. The air was smooth with few small bumps. Neil, Gabe and Ray launched after me and I flew for almost 2 hours. My penetration was good most of the time until when l reached 2,000 ft AGL over the upper launch. I was flying backwards if I don't pull in. There was one small squall line approached around 2pm and only last for couple minutes. It dries out pretty fast. Chris P and Ken M launched around 3 or 3:30pm when the wind dropped down to 20mph at launch. Neil landed on top and the rest of us landed at the bottom. I think Ray and Neil max altitude was about 2,500ft AGL (few hundred higher than me). Great day for six of us and a small group of Rcers.
