Where to learn Hang Gliding in Pacific Northwest:
Four hang gliders and a lot of parargliders showed up at Oceanside yesterday. I arrived launched at 2:45pm and still socked-in with SSW 10-15 mph winds. There was no improvement few hrs later and winds kept dropping as the day goes by too. Neil and few pgs launched around 5:30pm with minimal visibility of the beach. Few of them were able to climbed above launch and soared for very short time (maybe 5-15 mins). Rob Andrew, myself (hang gliders) and few paragliders launched an hour later (around 6:30pm) in much lighter winds (approx 3mph) and only have a sledder. Sollie also socked in all day too.
