Kilchis (Tillamook, Oregon) clouds surfing Report:
At Kilchis launch today, both Carmela Moreno and I punched off around 1pm (couple hundred feet higher than Sollie) and enjoyed soaring flights plus a lot of clouds surfing for me. I flew for over an hour and landed early as I'm planning on flying Oceanside later and also need to retrieve Carmela truck as well.  The thermals were smooth and easy to climbed up to the cloudbase which was around 2,400 ft AGL. (approx 500 ft above Kilchis launch). I flew over to Sollie launch a few times (at 50-100 ft above) but didn't experience any lifts there. I went further east to Sugar Hill where there was plenty of thermals that helped with going up to cloudbase again easily. Winds at the LZ as usual, came from the direction of SW or WSW at about 3-5 mph very smooth. I used my FWD mini van to retrieve Carmela's truck and it was fine going up to launch. Approx 5.5 miles each way. We should definitely fly Sollie or Kilchis more.

Dog Saturday report:

Everyone had soaring flights yesterday at Dog. I counted 10 hangs and 1 para flew (Stas, Kenny, Bobby, Xan H, Tina, Larry, Jasmine, Marty V,  Eric O , PG Kim and myself)
Stas and I went up first and punched off around 1:30pm in cloudy and really light wind conditions. It felt like sledder condition but turned out having plenty of thermals once launched.  I got up to 800-1,000ft above launch, went to Back bowl and Elk with my flight lasting 2.5 hours.

Oceanside Sunday report:

Today was an awesome day at Oceanside;  3 hangs (Kory , Ray and myself) and 3 paras (John Kraske, Gary & didn't get last PG's name )  showed up.  Ray launched first around 12:30 while Kory and l were on our way to Oceanside from Sollie. We didn't fly Sollie or Kilchis as launch was socked in. Special thanks to Carmela who came out to drive for us.   Ray was already in the air when we arrived launch at 1pm.  I punched off around 1:30pm in approx 15 to 18+ mph gusty SW winds and climbed quickly to 1,000 ft above launch with chance of even getting higher over the back bowl.  Ray and l flew for 3 hrs and l think Kory got over 2 hrs .  The 3 hrs flight was just cruising around from launch to the Back Bowl, The Cape, Happy Camp, Superman launch and further down to town of Netarts. Ray's rigid wing gained higher altitude than all of us as he was able to go further south.  Two PGs launched from Oceanside later and John Kraske launched from Superman also got in a good flight. Definitely one of the most easiest day for flying back and forth from launch to Happy Camp. Lifts were everywhere and super smooth.
