5 hangs (Tim Bugge, Ray Berger, Kory McEniry, Bob Horning and myself) and half dozen of PGs flew Cape Lookout today. I flew twice and got over 6 hours of air time. (1st flight 4 hrs, landed at the alternative LZ by the road./ 2nd flight 2.5 hrs landed at the beach). Ray's flew for over 4 hours too. The winds was lighter than forecast predicted but still very good. Easy trip to the end of the Cape and North Point. Maximum altitude around 1,800ft in the morning and about 1,600 ft in the afternoon because ceiling was low whole day. Smooth lifts everywhere from 9am to sunset.
