3 hrs at Bingen with Neil Clark 10/8/17

 Video from yesterday at Bingin

Bingen was awesome today. 10/8/17.  Neil Clark and I arrived LZ around 11am and it was already blowing 10-15 mph at the LZ and many white capes on the river. We hiked up and ready to launch around 2pm.  Launch conditions wasn't too strong, it was coming straight up from west about 8-10mph. Neil launched first and we  climbed up above launch slowly. We flew for almost 3 hrs and we made it to the Hood River Toll Bridge and cross the river to the Oregon side. Highest altitude was only 800ft above launch (2900AGL) but thermals were poping up consistently. The winds at the LZ was really rowdy when we landed which around 5:00pm. Super switchy due the rotors from the trees on the south side of the parking area. No paraglider or speedwing pilots today. Only two of us (Hang glider).
